Hi. I’m Jennie. A 30-something mom living my dream of staying home with my 13 month old son while my rockstar husband plays golf all weekend (just kidding . . .wait am I?!). I love being a new mom but I didn’t always know there would be an emotional roller-coaster that would come with it. And I don’t mean the love and joy and googlie eyes that I would have for my new babbling bundle of buggars but that out of body, have no idea what to do with my new rolls, don’t know when I last washed my hair and where in the world are my jeggings emotions. But, the inner lack of confidence, the stress, the feeling ashamed at being sad when I know all I should feel is happiness, for lack of a better word. I was that new mom. The one who was all smiles and butterflies telling everyone how amazing life is and how I feel great, never better but inside I would cringe at the thought of having to put on “normal clothes” to leave the house.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
I’ve been there and have gotten myself to the other side. I am a confident, (still don’t know when I last washed my hair), strong mom who knows that MOMMIN’ AIN’T EASY. But I know what to do to keep myself happy and healthy and confident in my own skin. And that my friends is what I have learned to be able to inspire others to be confident in their own skin.
It’s so easy as a mom to take yourself for granted. To deny yourself time, energy, money to do something for YOU. I fought that with all my might until my husband told me time and again that it was okay to focus on ME. So I did just that. I gave myself 30 minutes a day, I made healthy changes to my eating habits and I started reading personal development (which I always thought was NOT for me). Do you know what happened??!
I CHANGED, physically, emotionally, mentally. I lost 35 pounds. I finally felt strong, powerful, worthy and confident – not just on the outside but the inside too.
I work with people of all ages, shapes and sizes. I inspire and motivate others to change their lives. I want to help inspire YOU to make the changes you need to attain your goals, no matter what they may be.
BUT THIS WASN’T ALWAYS ME.
I wasn’t always a stay-at-home mom. For 10 years, I was a stressed out, overworked, underpaid minion in Corporate America. Then for 3 years I owned my own brick and mortar business where I thought I would be able to stay home with my babies and have more family time, where it would be AWESOME to work for myself. Instead I worked all the time and never saw my family.
All I wanted was to be able to stay home with my babies, have quality family time while still being able to make an impact AND an income. I wanted to live life on my own terms, not somebody else’s.
And now I would LOVE to help YOU to do the same.
Think we might be a good fit?? There’s more . . . .
- In my previous life, I’m pretty sure I was a rap artist
- I am uncontrollable passionate about my family and friends – they are my everything
- I may or may not still have my knee high white boots from being on a dance team
- My guilty pleasures are wine and ice cream, not necessarily together but maybe
- I am a huge fan of warm weather vacations but hate the beach – too much sand in places it should not belong plus you never know WHAT is in the water
- I treat my 5 year old Cavalier, Mr Bo Jangles, as if he is human
- I live for BIG GOALS and even BIGGER DREAMS
Want to work with me? Let’s do it!
